For Christina and Eric, so much of life has centered around Northern California’s Bay Area. Growing up, dating, falling in love, and serving their church are all a part of the story that these two have woven together. With all those who’ve touched their lives and invested in them, they knew that they’d have a large wedding guest list, so of course they chose to tie the knot close to home. That’s how they landed on an Ardenwood Historic Farm wedding.
As often happens with our couples, I came to really appreciate Christina and Eric during their engagement session—in their case during an extended session all around San Francisco. They told me in advance that they love the city and wanted to incorporate it in their images. That meant climbing the heights of the tiled Moraga Steps. Revisiting sentimental spots around Golden Gate Park. Soaking in the incoming sea fog at Lands End Park. As we ventured together, I found that these two are an incredible match. Their intelligence is clear, but so is their sense of humor, their fondness for Pixar movies, and their love for Jesus. Far more than just a beautiful couple, they are comfortably made for each other. And that made photographing their all-outdoors Ardenwood Historic Farm wedding all the more delightful one cool day in September…
Christina and Eric, I’m so grateful to count you as new friends and eager to welcome you into married bliss. I think you’ll find it’s a blast! And more than that, I pray that the years to come reveal just how wonderful life traveled together can be. Blessings on that road ahead!
