You can take the bride out of the hills, but you can’t take the hills out of the bride. Which is why I suspect Audrey and Randy arranged for a charming foothills wedding at Hart 2 Hart Vineyards.
I first met Audrey when she was bridesmaiding at a wedding just a few miles away. I learned she was a product of the hills herself, and that she could rock cowboy boots with the best of ’em. Fast forward a couple years and Audrey herself was on the phone with me talking about her own plans to marry this wonderful guy named Randy, wondering if we might photograph their wedding as well. During the course of their engagement session, I could see just what she was talking about; Randy packs a sense of humor, carries an entrepreneurial spirit, and offers plenty of grace. Meanwhile, Audrey brings the vivaciousness and spunk, and plenty of attention to detail. They are just the sort of couple I love to work with. And their wedding at Hart 2 Hart vineyards was just the sort of wedding I love to shoot.

As the day reached it’s end, Audrey and Randy looked on life with new eyes–as husband and wife. And I suspect we’re all better for it.
