Nope. No 500-word post for you today. No photo taken by my hefty Nikon DSLR. Just a simple unedited photo from my smartphone that shows you a tiny slice of my life.
Most summers, my wife and I visit my homeland of Oregon to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This means driving for a few hours through a beautiful patch of the country to reach the town of Ashland where I was born. This year, we spotted a fancy-schmancy sign at the border letting us know that we were welcome in Oregon. I looked over to the other side of the highway after taking a picture to see how the California sign compared:
“NOW ENTERING CALIFORNIA.”
We’ve got to work on our Californian hospitality.
