Smartphone Saturday: Lonely Chapel

No how-to tutorials or epic stories today. It is Smartphone Saturday. Just a simple, unedited photo from my smartphone.

Ten minutes earlier we were running off the beach at St. Andrews to our van, in vain hopes of escaping a sudden Scottish downpour. We cranked the heater to its highest setting and drove north toward our next destination in Perth. But as we drove, the sun appeared again with a warm and bright fury that we hadn’t yet experienced since arriving in Scotland. It shone as if to point out this lonely chapel, sitting on a hill in the middle of a cemetery near Pickletillum. We knew we had to pull off the highway for a few minutes to soak up the sun, and the ornate and peaceful vibe of the chapel and its grounds.
