Chic Wedding at Black Oak Mountain Vineyards
All of Madeline and Leandro’s daydreams, late-night planning sessions, prayers and preparations had culminated in this: a wedding whose memory and meaning will not fade. It was filled with incredible detail and design. More importantly, it brought together loved ones from all over the world to celebrate. And it all happened one warm and bustling day in Cool, California’s Black Oak Mountain Vineyards.
Though their wedding took place in Northern California, their love story began hundreds of miles to the north. No, not Oregon–further north, in Washington. They each came to the Pacific Northwest to pursue their careers, and while there, they happened to attend an event at the same church. Though they didn’t have the time to exchange more than a simple “hello”, a friend helped them to connect on social media a month later. Their time together was filled with hikes and “discovering” towns. As they moved from fast friends to fiancées, it was clear to them this blossoming relationship was no product of coincidence. God had brought their two hearts together.
So the wedding day finally arrived, and with it came the chance to celebrate this new thing happening in their lives–and the adventure of marriage ahead of them. As you look through glimpses of their day below at Black Oak Mountain Vineyards, you’ll find all sorts of sweet moments, unfiltered emotion, chic design choices, holy tradition, and beautiful countryside . . .
Madeline and Leandro, you’ve got something special happening here. And from being a part of your celebration, I could see how so many of the people in your orbit are elated to see you step into marriage. I pray that God gives you strength to offer all that same sweetness, humility, adventure and compassion to each other as you work on becoming that old married couple that everyone loves. Congratulations!
